This virtual simulation game (VSG) is a leadership-based scenario where you will be required to make appropriate conflict resolution decisions at key points throughout the game. As a nurse on a medical-surgical unit, you observe a critical situation where the actions of a patient’s assigned nurse have resulted in patient injury.
Upon discussion, the assigned nurse does not want you to report or document the situation for fear of negative repercussions from the employer. As a nursing peer, the learner must address the situation using appropriate conflict resolution skills.
