A 77-year-old male patient presents to an emergency department (ED) with sudden onset of SOB, dizziness, and chest discomfort. Pt. drove himself to the ED. The patient is a retired bus driver who lives in a bungalow with his wife. His past medical history includes mild Chronic Heart Failure, renal insufficiency, and implanted defibrillator (1 year ago). Pt was initially stable, but his condition deteriorates in a monitored treatment area (from abnormal heart rhythm asystole) and code blue is called.
